Halve the cherry tomatoes and put in a bowl.
Trim approx. ¾ in off the base of each asparagus spear. Put the spears on a plate. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 150 °F.
Heat the canola oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken, asparagus, and ham and fry for approx. 10 minutes until the chicken is golden brown.
Put the asparagus chicken and ham on a plate and keep warm in the oven.
Add the cherry tomatoes, olives, basil and wine to the pan and let simmer for approx. 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve the chicken with asparagus, ham, and sauce.
