Finely chop the dates and put in a bowl.
Toast the almonds on medium heat in a non-stick frying pan without oil until golden brown. Stir occasionally.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Fry the cinnamon and turmeric for approx 30 seconds and stir in the vegetable broth.
