Chop the garlic and basil coarsely and put into a blender.
Cook the penne according to the package instructions.
Blend basil, garlic, silken tofu, walnuts and yogurt with an immersion blender until smooth and creamy finely. Season with salt and pepper.
Dice the tofu. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Fry the tofu until golden brown and remove from the pan.
