Dice the tofu and put it in a bowl.
Coarsely chop the onion, finely chop the garlic, slice the mushrooms and put everything in a second bowl.
Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Fry the tofu until crispy from all sides and reduce completely.
Turn the heat to medium, add the honey and caramelize for approx. 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the oil, onions, garlic, and mushrooms to the pan and fry until the onions turn translucent.
